Thomas Finn II Obituary

Thomas Patrick Finn, II, age 82, passed away on Friday, August 2, 2024. Born in Galveston on September 19, 1941, Tom graduated from Kirwin High School, class of 1960. After graduation, he joined the U.S. Air Force and was trained in ground power at Chanute Air Force Base in Illinois and then to Viet Nam and Cambodia. At home in Galveston, Tom became a master electrician and was a 50 year member of IBEW Union. He owned Gulf Electric for many years and retired after Hurricane Ike. He was a member of Holy Family Parish and the Knights of Columbus. 

Tom was preceded in death by his parents, James and Alice Finn; brother, James Finn of Seattle; first wife, Diana Finn Camp; and second wife, Theresa Stevens Finn. 

Tom is survived by his wife of 33 years, Clemmie Finn; children, Tammy McLaughlin and husband, Dan; Thom Finn, III; Mary Huebner and husband, Tom; Kelly Finn and wife, Tracy; step-children, Tracy Deltz and wife, Elaine; Cheryl Mancuso and husband, Tony; and Troy Deltz and wife, Niki; 12 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brothers John Finn of New Mexico and Emil Finn of Australia. 

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 8, 2024 at J. Levy & Termini Funeral Home from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., with a Rosary to begin at 6:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 9, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. A private family graveside service will be held later in the day at Galveston Memorial Park in Hitchcock, Texas. 

Pallbearers will be his grandsons. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holy Family Parish, 1010 35th Street, Galveston, Texas 77550. 

Immediately following the Mass, the family would like to invite everyone to a reception at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 1912 Winnie St, Galveston, Texas.
