Tammie L. Moody

Tammie Louise Bell born December 19,1959 in Galveston Texas to Ethel Cannon and Floyd Bell, passed away at the University of Texas Medical Branch October 23, 2024 at the age of 64. 

Tammie is survived by her brother Floyd Bell, long time boyfriend Roland Diaz, her son Tommie Woods III (wife Kristi Woods), Robert Moody, her daughter Kristine Woods, Grandchildren Jakob Boone, Tiea Woods, Tiffany Woods, Brycen Woods, Tristen Gonzales, Baleigh Woods, Elleeanna Gonzales, her great grandchild to be baby Woods and numerous nieces and nephews.

Tammie was a Ball High class of 1978 graduate and a Galveston College class of 2012 graduate where she achieved her dream of becoming a Licensed Vocational Nurse. Tammie dedicated her life to raising her children and grandchildren. Tammie was a Metastatic Melanoma warrior who fought hard to the very end. 

The family would like to thank the MD Anderson oncologist team and Dr. Q. Jan and her team at UTMB for the loving care that was showed both to Tammie and her family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to MD Anderson Cancer Center.
