Ronald David Rodriguez, Sr.

Our beloved Ronald "Ronnie" Rodriguez Sr. 60 passed away peacefully in his home on Galveston Island, Texas on June 9th 2024.  

Born January 10th, 1964 in Galveston, Texas to parents Edward Rodriguez Sr. and Francis C. Rodriguez, Ronnie was the 4th child of five siblings.  

He was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Francis, his older brothers Michael Rodriguez and Edward Rodriguez and his younger sister Caroline Rodriguez.  

His loving spirit is carried on by his older brother Robert Rodriguez, the mother of his children Melanie Roach, his children Ronald Jr and Courtney Rodriguez, Amber and Jay Knoth, and Chelsea Roach, as well as his grandchildren.  

Ronnie was a man with a heart of gold, he was a die hard Astro's fan, had a very hard working demeanor,  and a smile that could light up any room! His favorite role in life was being a father to Amber, Ronnie, and Chelsea. He was always there for them and also his grandchildren Mya, Ryson, Preston, Allyson, Liam, Levi, Baby Cali, Vaughn, A'Zayveon and Aleigha. His grandkids loved spending time with their grandpa Ronnie, and we all will truly miss him! 

Ronnie's funeral will be held at J. Levy and Termini Funeral Home at 2128 Broadway St, Avenue J, Galveston, TX 77550 on Monday June 17, 2024 at 12 p.m. with a public viewing beginning at 11a.m.
