Rodney Wayne Richard

Rodney Wayne Richard, age 23, passed away Monday, March 2, 2015. He was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana on July 11, 1991. He was a graduate of Galveston Ball High School. Rodney was a role model and big brother to all who knew him. He would lend a hand to anyone who needed help, without hesitation. He was a loving father, son, brother, brother-in-law and friend. He will be sadly missed by all those who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Wilford Rodney Richard and Jack Friedman; grandmother Barbara Jablon; and his friends Gabby Kirst and Ricky Roa. He is survived by his mother Shari Richard and Dale Bates; his father Roger Wayne Richard and fiancé Ann; grandmother Bessie Trahan; son Aiden Lee Jackson Richard; brother Jesse Ray Richard; aunts Lisa Kay Martin and Gale Lynn Arentz; and numerous other family members and a host of friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Meals on Wheels, 2803 53rd Street, Galveston, Texas 77551.  

Services

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at J. Levy & Termini Funeral Home, with Reverend Raymond Pinard officiating. The family will be receiving friends prior to service time beginning at 10:00 A.M.
