Paul Edward (Eddie) Rios

Paul Edward (Eddie) Rios passed away peacefully from this earth on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at home in Galveston. He was born on June 15, 1966 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Galveston to Jesse and Mary Rios. 

He was preceded in death by his father Jacinto (Jesse) Rios, and grandparents Joe and Aurora Aguirre. 

Eddie is survived by his devoted companion and caregiver Kathy Johnson of Texas City, Texas, his mother Mary A. Rios of Santa Fe, Texas, brother Anthony Rios (Brian) of Galveston, Uncle Joe and Aunt Rachel Zamora, cousin Joy Zamora of Corpus Christi, Texas, cousin Rachel Phillips of Toledo Washington, and a large extended family of cousins and relatives of the Aguirre clan. 

Eddie graduated from Ball High School in 1984 and attended TSTI in Waco receiving an Associate degree in HVAC Technology in 1986. Eddie was employed by ExxonMobil in Baytown for 27 years before retiring in 2021. 

Eddie was a member of the Galveston Elks Lodge #126 and a proud member of the Amigos MC and the Bandidos MC from 2004-2016. 

An avid fisherman, Eddie had his favorite and secret fishing spots in Galveston and he enjoyed using his Aluma Craft Bay Boat here in Galveston Bay. 

A memorial service will be held at J. Levy & Termini Funeral Home at 12:00 P.M. on Wednesday, December 18, 2024. Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 10:00 A.M.
