Patrick Adolph Prendergast, Jr., age 62, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at Jennie Sealy Hospital. He was born in Galveston, Texas on November 4, 1959. He was a 1978 graduate of Ball High School. He worked in industrial services as a truck driver. Some of his many passions were fishing with his mother, watching his favorite team, the Green Bay Packers play football, and watching the Mardi Gras parade each year. But his greatest passion was spending time with his family. Patrick was a “people” person and never met a stranger. He will be sadly missed by all of those who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his father Patrick Adolph Prendergast, Sr; and his granddaughter Loriel Williams.
He is survived by his mother Betty Jo Prendergast; daughters LaShonda Charles and husband Frederick and Tia Cook and fiancé Sandra Cezar; son Jamaur Dickerson; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister Tammy Myers and husband Keith; brother Randy Prendergast and life partner Yolanda Gomez; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at J. Levy & Termini Funeral Home on Friday, July 1, 2022 from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. Following visitation there will be funeral procession to Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery in Hitchcock, Texas for a graveside service, with Deacon Robert Standridge officiating.
