Officer Jason Wilson Reed

Officer Jason Wilson Reed, age 54, has gone to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at Baywind Village Nursing Center. He was born in Galveston, Texas on October 12, 1969. He worked in law enforcement  for the City of Galveston Police Department, the Harris County Police Department, the Texas Department of Corrections and the San Jacinto College Police Department .  He loved to go camping and kayaking, but his greatest passion was spending time with his family.

He was a loving husband, father, son, grandson and step-grandfather and will be sadly missed by all of those who knew and loved him. 

He is survived by his wife of three years, Minerva; mother Nancy; grandmother Pauline; children Cailyn and Tyler; step-children Gabrielle, Robert and Aaron; step-grandchildren Thalia, Alex, Erik, Lexi and Lucian; and  numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other family members and friends. 

Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 20, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at J. Levy & Termini Funeral Home, with Pastor Susana Cueva officiating. Interment will follow at Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 10:00 A.M.
