Obituary

Natalie Ann Bazaman, formerly Natalie Ginsberg, passed away in her home on March 5, 2023 at the age of 97.  She was a loving and dedicated Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother – family was the top priority and most important part of her life.

Natalie was born January 4, 1926 in Columbus, Ohio.  Around age eight, she moved with her family to Galveston, Texas.  She graduated from Ball High School and several years later met and married the love of her life, musician Joe Ginsberg.  They were happily married for 41 years as they raised three children while building a business, Ginsberg’s Music Center.

A few years after Joe’s death in 1990, Natalie caught the eye of Sam Bazaman, and after a couple of years they were happily married for 18 years.

Prior to Sam’s death in 2010, Hurricane Ike’s devastation of Galveston resulted in a move to Houston where they lived the remainder of their lives in The Village of Tanglewood.

Natalie was a free spirit with a love for life, which she lived to the fullest.  Making friends for her was easy.  She always looked for the positive in everyone, never speaking an unkind word about others.  She looked forward to weekly gatherings with her lifelong friends, enjoying lunch and playing Mahjong.  She was a life member of Hadassah, B’nai Brith Women, and Sisterhood at her Temple.

Natalie is survived by daughter Jackie Mark (husband Richard), son Ronnie Ginsberg (wife Ginger), daughter Suzy Tuck (husband Michael), grandchildren Sheldon Ginsberg (wife Lynsey), Shelby West (husband Jacob), Andrew Mark (wife Katherine), Jillian Tuck, Jessica Krakower (husband Ben), and great grandchildren Madelyn, Katelyn, and Hollyn Ginsberg, and Crew, Colt, and Collin West.

The family would like to thank Lovey Dominguez for her loving and compassionate care of their precious Natalie in her final years.

Natalie will be greatly missed, but the love she gave will continue to endure in the hearts of those who love her.  Those wishing to honor Natalie’s memory can do so via donation to any charity of their choice.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at Congregation Beth Jacob Cemetery, 61st Street & Avenue T 1/2, Galveston, with Rabbi David Rosen officiating.
