Nasaria "Sara" Hernandez

Nasaria “Sara” Hernandez, age 91, passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2024 in Pasadena, Texas. She was born in Waelder, Texas on January 6, 1933. She worked numerous years for Lykes Brothers Shipping Company in Galveston. She then went on to work at St. Patrick Catholic Church as secretary for several years. She loved ceramics and traveling on cruises. But her greatest love and passion was spending time with her grandchildren. 

She is preceded in death by her first husband Raymond Galicia; parents Catarino Melchor and Carmen R. Melchor; brother Frank Melchor; sister Mary Louise Galvan; daughter Sandra Alvarado; son Raymond Galicia, Jr; and lastly her husband Antonio Hernandez. 

She is survived by her sister Leonora Corona; son Ronald Galicia; and numerous grandchildren. 

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. at J. Levy & Termini Funeral Home.
