Mary Margaret Campo (née Heisch) passed away peacefully in Livingston, TX on January 23, 2020 at the age of 90.
Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Campo; her parents; her sister Gladys Rae and husband, Willard E. Craft, Sr, and their son, Willard E. “Tony” Craft Jr.; her grandson Johnathan Campo; and her dearest friend of over 60 years, Wilhelmina “Mimi” Hinton. Mary is survived by her sons, Robert David Campo and wife Karee; Stephen Paul Campo and wife Melanie; Grandchildren Miranda, Ethan, Stevie, Braeden, and Kaycee; Step-grandchildren Charlie and Quinn. She also leaves behind very dear friends, Tanya Jaridly, and Spring and Nikki Wilson.
Mary was born on December 9, 1929 in Rockdale, TX to Robert C. and Gladys Heisch. She graduated from Ball High School in Galveston in 1947. She was married to Robert in 1965 at Sacred Heart Church, in Galveston. She worked at American National Insurance Company in Galveston, until her resignation to become a housewife and start their family. Mary was a loving and caring mother and grandmother to all that visited her home, and was an avid lover of animals.
A service is scheduled for February 1st, 2020 at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Galveston, at 9:00 am. Rev. Ray Pinard of Moody Methodist Church will officiate the ceremony.

The family would especially like to thank all of the nurses and staff of the Bradford at Brookside in Livingston, and the staff of Kindred Hospice for their tireless efforts and dedication of caring for Mary over the last three years.
