Marie Meier

Marie Meier, age 94, passed away Friday, April 3, 2015 at UTMB Hospital. She was born in Marche, Arkansas on August 26, 1920. She worked for over 30 years as a grocery checker at the store on 16th and Church street, working for the Covington family, then the Tropea family after they purchased it. She was preceded in death by her husband Carl Meier, Sr. She is survived by her daughter Phyllis Tijerina and husband John; son Carl Meier, Jr. and wife Tonie; granddaughter Dalynn Brown and husband Carl. Visitation will be held at J. Levy & Termini Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., with a Rosary to begin at 6:30 P.M. Funeral services will be held at J. Levy & Termini Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at 10:00 A.M., with Deacon Robert Standridge officiating. Entombment will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Dickinson, Texas.
