Marie Theresa Bosworth passed away peacefully at home on October 13, 2024, surrounded by her family. Marie was born August 29, 1937, in Galveston, Texas to Edward A. (Buck) and Camille Rogers.Marie was a homemaker for many years as her 7 children grew up. Eventually she became a very important part of the family business as administrative assistant for Bosworth Air Conditioning. She was a caring, giving person and would always lend a helping hand to people in need. She had a beautiful smile and was full of laughter. Though Marie’s health was failing for years, few people knew the extent to which she struggled but she carried on by her Faith. Marie’s joy for life and unstoppable spirit, also kept her pushing through the pain. Marie was of Christian faith and attended The Fellowship Church in Texas City, Texas for many years. She enjoyed listening to the sermons by Bishop Herrin and Pastor Kevin. She is preceded in death by her parents Edward A and Camille Rogers; Jerry Bosworth Sr, Brother Edward (JuJu) Rogers Jr, great grandson Jayse Harvey and son in law David Balfour.
She is survived by all seven of her children, sons Jerry Bosworth Jr (Mary Ann), Larry Bosworth (Donna), Terry Bosworth Sr (Patricia), Tommy Bosworth (Ruth), Garry Bosworth, daughters Brenda Reinsch (Wayne), and Kim Balfour. 14 Grandchildren and 15 Great-Grandchildren. Sister Elva Jean Stafford and Brother Lawrence (Linda) Rogers. Numerous nephews and nieces and extended family members. The family wishes to thank her granddaughter Theresa Gilley, daughter Brenda Reinsch and friend Amber Helton for their kindness and compassionate care over the years.
The family will receive visitors at J Levy & Termini Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, October 21, 2024, at 10:00 am followed by a chapel service at 11:00 am with Bishop Delbert Herrin officiating.
Pallbearers will be: Jerry Bosworth Jr., Larry Bosworth, Terry Bosworth, Tommy Bosworth, Wayne Reinsch, Michael Landry, Jr. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Garry Bosworth and Terry Bosworth, Sr.
Burial will follow at Mt Olivet Cemetery 7801 Gulf Freeway Dickinson, Texas 77539. Memorials may be sent to one’s charity of choice.
