Kent Clinton Peebles

Kent Clinton Peebles passed from this life on Sunday, June 23, 2019  His loving wife at his side at their home in Hitchcock, Texas.  Kent was born May 12, 1943 in Pocatello, Idaho.  He enlisted in the United States Army in October, 1974 and served his country proudly for the next four years until such time that he was honorably discharged in October, 1978.  Kent worked many years for an oil production company, retiring with years of loyalty and dedication to his profession.  He enjoyed visits to coffee shops with friends, fishing and hunting at his ranch in the Hill Country.

Kent is preceded in death by his parents, Laura and Guy Hilton Peebles and also one of his children, Laura Kay Peebles.  He leaves behind his loving wife of 40 years, Ella Louise Sandoval Peebles whom he lovingly called "Baby", his daughter, Dawn Peebles and also his jack russell terrier, "Rambo" whom he enjoyed and loved greatly.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. at J. Levy and Termini Funeral Home, 2128 Broadway, Galveston, Texas, with Father David Harris officiating.  Mrs. Peebles will be receiving friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
