Obituary
Jose Antonio “Tony” Hernandez, age 88, passed away Friday, August 5, 2022 at The Reserve at Pearland Assisted Living Center. He was born on October 6, 1933 in Laredo, Texas. He retired from the U.S Army after 23 years of service, then worked 18 years for the Department of Criminal Justice.
He was preceded in death by his father Antonio Hernandez; mother and step-father Gregoria and Andrew Parra; and son Tony Hernandez.
He is survived by his wife Nasaria “Sarah” Hernandez; sons Luis Hernandez and Felix Hernandez; step-son Ronald Galicia and wife Julie; granddaughter Leann Hernandez; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held at J. Levy & Termini Funeral Home on Thursday, August, 18, 2022 from 9:00 A.M. to 10 A.M, with a Rosary to begin at 10:00 A.M., followed by a memorial service, with Deacon Robert Standridge officiating. Interment will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
