John Charles Elco, 63, passed away on Thursday, February 26th, 2015. Born October 10, 1951, John was a lifelong Galveston resident, and a free spirit who lived life on his own terms. He served in the Air Force, worked for the County of Galveston, and became self employed as a bee-keeper, providing honey to local area grocery stores. John was also an invaluable asset to the family by helping care for our ailing grandmother, then several years later, our mother. John is preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Betty Elco. He is survived by his brother Michael, his three sisters Lynn Alexander, Susan Reid, Lisa Muehlberger and husband Mike, and nieces Robin Alexander and Stephanie Reid. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 2, 2015 at J. Levy & Termini Funeral Home from 5:00 P.M. to 6:30 P.M., with a Vigil service to begin at 6:30 P.M. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at J. Levy & Termini Funeral Home, with Deacon Robert Standridge officiating. Interment will follow at Mt.
