John L. Coto

John Luera Coto, a veteran of the Marine Corps, was 72 when he passed away on October 3, 2017 and was surrounded by family. He is survived by his wife of 44 years Maria Coto, daughter Stacy Reyes and her husband Simon Reyes, daughter Kathleen Reigns and her husband Christian Reigns, 2 sons Felix Coto and Mark Coto and 6 grandchildren, Christine Miller, Simon Reyes Jr, Christopher Reyes, Selena Reyes, John (J.C) Coto, and Micaiah Reigns. He was born and raised in Waelder, Texas and was a long time resident at Galveston. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at J. Levy & Termini Funeral Home from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., with a Rosary to begin at 7:00 P.M. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 13, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with Father Jude Ezuma officiating. Interment will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mark Coto, Simon Reyes, Christopher Reyes, Simon Reyes, Jr., Christian Reigns and Kathleen Reigns.
