Joan Paysse

Joan Paysse, age 73, passed away Sunday, January 11, 2015 at her residence. She was born on December 3, 1941 in Galveston, Texas. She worked at UTMB Hospital for over 20 years until her retirement. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Joan was preceded in death by her father Jack Paysse; mother Catherine Lavelle Paysse; and brothers Henry and Jack Paysse. She is survived by her daughter Darlneshia Goodner; son Chris Conley and wife Demetria and their daughter Skylar; companion Albert Skinner and his daughters Leevon Mitchell, Ebony Skinner, Erma Skinner and Ilana Skinner; sisters-in-law Maria Paysse and Yvonne Castle; nephews: Henry Paysse, Jr and wife Abigal and their daughter Lily; Jeff Paysse; Jason Paysse and wife Jade and their children Audrina and Brielle; niece Nicole Samuelsen and husband Scott and their children Haley and Hannah; and numerous cousins and other family members. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 16, 2015 at 6:30 P.M. at J. Levy & Termini Funeral Home, with Pastor Andrew Berry officiating. Visitation will be held prior to service time beginning at 5:00 P.M.
