Francisco “Frank” Arnulfo Arespe, age 69, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 16, 2020, at his residence, with his family at his side. He was born on June 25, 1951 in Galveston, Texas. Frank lived a life of helping others. For over 15 years, he opened his home to foreign exchange students from all over the world. He retired from Walmart after 20 years of service to devote full time to his lawn service. Frank was a loving brother, uncle and friend. He will be missed by all of those who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents Arnulfo and Mary Arespe.
He is survived by his sisters Gloria Arespe Gonzales and Dora Arespe Alvarez and husband Manuel; brothers Ray Arespe and wife Kim, Ruben Arespe, Charlie Arespe and wife Debbie and Robert Arespe; half-brother Johnny Rodriguez; nieces Angela, Julie, Crystal and Maricella; nephews Arnulfo, Christopher, Derek, Myles Manuel Jr., and Jesse; and numerous great-nieces, great-nephews; other family members and friends; special friends Linda Denson and Richard Sword; and all of the foreign exchange students that came to the United States to live in his home.
The family would like to express their thanks to AMed Hospice, especially Julia Lewis, for their kindness and compassion during this difficult time.
A memorial service will be held at J. Levy & Termini Funeral Home at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 26, 2020, with Pastors Manuel and Shirlyn Thomas officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 1:00 P.M.
