Ferrylyn Arnold

Ferrylyn Mary Arnold, age 89, passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at Harbor Hospice. She was born on the Port Bolivar Ferry on December 21, 1934, and that is the reason her parents named her Ferrylyn. She loved fishing, playing penny slots, traveling, canning and crabbing. She was an excellent cook and she loved cooking seafood at holiday gatherings for her family.

She is preceded in death by her husband Charles Arnold; and son Terry Lee Derrick and daughter-in-law Donna Derrick.

She is survived by her daughters Cindy Zimerman and husband Frank and Lisa Frederick; son Donald (Bubba) Derrick; grandchildren Jennifer Thompson, Melisa Frederick, Samantha Maddox and David Kocur; great-grandchildren Ravyn Lerma, Joaquin Lerma, Bella Lerna, Taylor Maddox and Kaylie Maddox; and great-great grandson Damien Hernandez.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 23, 2024 at J. Levy & Termini Funeral Home at 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow at the Port Bolivar Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 10:00 A.M.
