Angie DeLuna Brasuell, age 43, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at Jennie Sealy Hospital in Galveston, Texas. She was born on February 15, 1979 in Galveston, Texas. She made her home in Galveston and was a beloved wife, sister, aunt and friend. Angie cherished her family and she will be sadly missed by all of those who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her mother Virginia DeLuna; grandmother Francis Garcia; grandfather Luis Garcia; uncle Luis Garcia; cousins Monica Callais, Francis Callais, Elaine Maher, Infant Kevin Maher; and cousins Cindy Flores and Rhett Callais.
She is survived by her husband Rickey Brasuell; father Eliseo “Cookie” DeLuna; sister Anna DeLuna Estrada and husband Arturo; father-in-law James Dunlap and wife Sandy; brother-in-law Audie Dunlap and wife Heather; sister-in-law Wendy Reyna and husband Ruben; Rickey’s grandparents Eddie Green and his wife Becky; aunts Mary Flores and husband Johnny, Janie Helms and husband Frank, Olivia Callais, Linda Maher and husband Larry, and Susanna Saldana and husband Jesse; uncles, Jose Garcia, Jesse Garcia and Pete Garcia; cousins, Annalise and Eliseo Estrada, Julia F. Ortega and husband Manuel, Lexis, Kayla, Zachary James, Jr., Julian, Vivian, Allinah and Jerimih Hernandez, Kevin Ovalle and wife Alexis, Jonas and Camila Ovalle, Eddie Garcia, Morgan Henderson and husband Jonathan, Mackenzie Helms, Arthur Ray Flores, Paulo Flores, Johnny J. Flores and wife Jennifer, Gabriel Callais, Rodney Joe Callais and wife Rebel, Janea C. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at 6:00 P.M. at J. Levy & Termini Funeral Home, with Deacon John Carrillo officiating. Visitation will be held prior the service beginning at 5:00 P.M.
