Eugene De Los Santos

Eugene De Los Santos, age 76, passed away after a brief illness on August 1, 2024 at UTMB Galveston with his family at his side.  He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and uncle.  

Eugene loved watching his favorite teams the Dallas Cowboys and Houston Astros.  He loved sports and enjoyed coaching his 3 sons Eugene, Anthony and Martin from their young age of playing Tball to Little League. He was a father figure to several young men that he coached and loved like his own. 

Eugene was preceded in death by his daughter, Michelle De Los Santos-Gonzales, son Anthony De Los Santos, grandson, Markie De Los Santos, his parents Trine and Raul De Los Santos, 6 brothers Ralph, Dennis, Eddie, Jeff, Jerry, Frank and 1 sister Stella Garcia. 

He is survived by his wife, Josephine De Los Santos, 2 sons Eugene Rene De Los Santos, Martin (Mayra) De Los Santos, 3 grandsons Aaron (Avalyna) De Los Santos, Brandon De Los Santos and Mateo De Los Santos, 2 great-grandchildren and 16 nieces and nephews, as well as many extended family and friends; and special friends - Libby Waite and Cenobio Martinez. 

Funeral services will be held at  J. Levy Termini Funeral Home in Galveston, on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 with visitation from 5 to 6:30pm, service following at 6:30pm.
