Doreen Theresa Steed

Doreen Theresa Steed, age 62, passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2023. She was born on November 25, 1960 in Detroit, Michigan. She was a graduate of Lee M. Thurston High School in Redford TWSP, Michigan. She has been a resident of Galveston for 24 years. She owned and operated a house cleaning service for 10 years. Doreen was a free spirit and the life of the party. She never met a stranger and she could always put a smile on your face. She was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt. She will be sadly missed by all of those who knew & loved her.

She was preceded in death by her sister Carol Gonzalez.

She is survived by her sons Hunter Steed and Tyler Steed; parents Gilbert and Lorraine Cane; granddaughter Amaya Gallup; sisters Deborah Coppersmith, Diane Illardi and husband Ralph and Denise Markle and husband Robert; brother Gilbert Cane, Jr; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at J. Levy & Termini Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. at J. Levy & Termini Funeral Home, with Deacon Robert Standridge officiating.
