Armand Bozant Obituary

Armand "Joe" Bozant passed away peacefully on November 14th, 2024. He died of natural causes at the age of 96.  

He was a cancer survivor, and he was up and about until the last few months of his life. 

Joe was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on October 18th, 1928. He and his family moved to Galveston when he was a child and remained a resident there. He served in the United States Navy and retired from Falstaff Brewery. Joe loved to play cards, work crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, and enjoyed watching old TV shows, especially westerns. He had a good sense of humor, and smiled a lot. He loved his dog, Pepper, who was a great companion and protector. 

He was well cared for and loved by his wife, Theresa who unfortunately passed away 10 days before him. 

He is preceded in death by his wife, Theresa Bozant, his parents August and Norma Bozant, sister Dianne Bozant, brother Lynn Bozant, daughters Sharon Maceo and Sandra Sanchez, and granddaughter Kristen Sanchez. 

He is survived by his daughter Jenny Jo Joha, sister Ann Thompson, grandchildren George and Sammie Maceo, Robert Rockell Aguilar, Blake Nicar, Paige Alvis, Ginger Cotham and 8 great-grandchildren, Joei, Caityn, Madi, Harper, Evan, Archer, Axton and Jack. He is also survived by his stepdaughter Yvonne Sierra, cousin Janice Connard, nephews Charlie and Todd Thompson, Mike, Donnie, Sparkey, and Eric Bozant, and niece Tracy Bozant.
