Allie Jaurigue

God called one of His Angels, Allie Jaurigue, to be with Him on Saturday, September 12, 2015. She was born on January 18, 1960 in San Antonio, Texas. She graduated from Rusk High School in Rusk, Texas. She worked as an activity director in the nursing homes in East Texas. Allie relocated to Galveston 12 years ago and met the love of her life, E.B. Jaurigue. She enjoyed gardening, making dream catchers, cooking and helping people in need. Her greatest love was her family. She will be missed by all of those who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her father George W. Powell, Jr.; and sister Paula Carlile. She is survived by her husband E.B. Jaurigue; daughter Misty Rasberry of Jacksonville, TX; mother Lea Powell of Jacksonville, TX; sisters Susan Avila and husband Carlos of Charlotte, NC, and Linda Akin and husband Willie of Whitehouse, TX; brother George Powell and wife Cindy of Jacksonville, TX; numerous nieces and nephews; and precious and loyal pets: her cat Mila, and her dogs Jake and Mieko. A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 18, 2015 at J. Levy & Termini Funeral Home at 7:00 P.M., with Reverend Raymond Pinard officiating. Visitation will be held prior to service time beginning at 5:00 P.M.
