Alicia Jimenez Saldaña, 85, of Guadalajara Jalisco, passed away on July 4, 2024, in her hometown. She was born to Lorenzo Jimenez and Dolores Saldaña on June 23, 1939, in Zacatecas, Mexico. She lived in Galveston, TX, in her younger years and then moved back to Mexico, where she resided as a beloved long-term resident.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Father Lorenzo and mother Dolores, and two daughters, Leticia Jimenez and Ana Bertha Rodriguez, who left too soon.
Alicia truly lived life to the fullest and devoted her life to caring for her 49 grandkids and 62 great-grandkids. She also enjoyed caring for triplets Cash Michael Devillier, Catherine Mary Devillier, and Colton Christopher Devillier. Alicia spent hours sewing and knitting, but her true passion was her garden. She loved to see her plants grow and had named multiple plants in her garden to remind her of her kids and grandkids.
Alicia will be deeply missed by her surviving family members, including her loving 13 children. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2024 at 6:00 P.M. at J. Levy & Termini Funeral Home, with Deacon Robert Standridge officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 5:00 P.M.
