Alice Elaine Glass

Alice “Elaine” Glass, age 70, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at her residence. She was born on December 29, 1945 in Bastrop, Louisiana. Elaine never met a stranger and her generosity towards others knew no boundaries. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her husband Roy G. Glass; parents Woodrow and Carrie Tate; brother Dalton; sisters Orleana and Judy. She is survived by her son John R. Glass of Humble, Texas; daughter Vickie Gonzales and husband Ponch of Bryan, Texas; granddaughters Olivia Bernice and Gentry Elaine Gonzales of Bryan, Texas; brothers Jerry Tate of New Caney, Texas and Jack Tate of Donie, Texas; sisters Carolyn Tatum of Port Bolivar, Texas and Mary Daniels of Humble, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 26, 2016 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at J. Levy & Termini Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 27, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at the Port Bolivar Baptist Church, 523 Nelson, Port Bolivar, Texas 77650, with Pastor Dennis Allen officiating. Interment will follow at the Port Bolivar Cemetery.
