Alexander "Alex aka Big Al" Garcia

Alexander Garcia, age 53, passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2025 in Galveston. "Alex aka Big Al" was a proud BOI born on June 7, 1971.  He had a heart of gold, knowing everybody and always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.  He had many interests such as gardening, cooking, birdwatching, and fishing.  He especially loved riding his classic bike with his brother Bino, his family and friends creating memories that will last a lifetime.  He was the family entertainer bringing laughter and joy to all those around him.  Alex will be deeply missed by his family and many friends, but his impact on those he touched will never be forgotten. 

Graveside services will be held at Calvary Catholic Cemetery on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at 10:00 A.M., with Deacon Robert Standridge officiating.
