William Lewis "Billy" Moody V

William Lewis “Billy” Moody V passed away Monday, September 12, 2016 in Galveston Island, Texas. Born October 14, 1962 in Del Rio Texas he spent his early childhood on the Leona Ranch before moving to Galveston Island in the fall of 1968. He attended school in Galveston and was graduated from Ball High School. He attended the University of Texas in Austin. Later he served on Garden State Life Insurance board. An avid skier who loved Aspen and scuba diving in Mexico and around the world.

Loving son of Darlene and Bill Moody and brother of Valerie Gnadt, Mill Valley, California; Janice Moody, Santa Fe, New Mexico; Linda Moody, Austin, TX; Elizabeth Moody, San Antonio, TX; nieces and nephews include: James Holan, III, Sally Skyes Braniard, Elizabeth-Anne Skyes Rains, Mary Janice Moody Skyes, Edwin Meredith Skyes IV.

Billy’s companion, Jamie Quebodeaux and his many friends including, Walker Denke Williams Janek, his loving god child, share the families grief of his passing. 

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at J. Levy & Termini Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at 10:00 A.M at J. Levy & Termini Funeral Home, with Reverend Raymond Pinard officiating. Interment will be private.

Pallbearers will be James Holan, Fabian Vela, Aurelio Castillo, Alton Todd, Craig Janek, Bruce Bunge.

Anyone who knew Billy knew of his generosity to others and his love of animals.
