Theodore Ricarte Obituary

Theodore “Lolo” Ricarte, age 80, passed away Thursday, January 22, 2015 at UTMB Hospital. He was born on September 11, 1934 in Seguin, Texas. He worked as a commercial fisherman at the Liberty docks in Galveston for 20 years. He then went to work for the City of Galveston and retired after numerous years of service.

He was preceded in death by his wife Lenora Ricarte; and his son Donaciano “Donnie” Alonzo.

He is survived by his children, Jesse Alonzo, Sylvia Tavares (Lorenzo), Ramon Ricarte, Robert Tarr, and Cynthia Tarr (Eric); 7 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces & nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at 7:00 P.M. at J. Levy & Termini Funeral Home, with Pastor Daniel Alvarado officiating. Visitation will be held prior to service time beginning at 5:00 P.M.
