Adelaido “Lalo” Campos, age 72, passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at Jennie Sealy Hospital. He was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on November 12, 1946.
He worked for U.S. Contractors Inc., Marine Co. Inc., and Galveston Shipbuilding as a welder. He retired in 2004. He was also a member of Boilermakers 132.
He was preceded in death by his Mother Cristella Villafranco; Sisters Chris Rivera and Vicki Garcia.
He is survived by his wife Rita Campos; children Yolanda Campos, Adelaido Jr. (ET) Campos, Susie Campos, Alex Campos, Joey De La Cruz, Carlos De La Cruz and Johnathan Campos; sisters Maggie, Maryann and Maria; brothers ViVi, Salome, Eward and Larry; 24 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and numerous, nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 11, 2019 at J. Levy & Termini Funeral Home from 10:00 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. Immediately following the visitation, there will be a funeral procession to Lakeview Cemetery for a graveside service, with Pastor Samuel Alvarado officiating.
Pallbearers will be Alex Campos, Marcus Campos, Luis Perez, Noe Campos, Dylan Love, and Adrian Estrada.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the doctors and nursing staff in the ICU at UTMB Hospital.
