Wayne A. Gerondale, Sr., of Galveston, was reunited with his loving wife on October 16, 2017 at his home. Wayne was born in Toledo, Ohio on August 21, 1936, and became a Galvestonian 25 years later. He was a loving husband, a respected father, a teaching grandfather, a doting great-grandfather, and as of recent, a gentle great-great-grandfather. He and his wife raised and help raise three generations and never shied away from lending a hand.

Wayne is preceded in death by his wife of over 60 years, Donna Gerondale; granddaughter, Crystal Gerondale; parents: Julia and Randolph Sorenson; and five siblings: Joan Marshall, Joy Sorenson, Michael Gerondale, Randie Sorenson, and Ronnie Gerondale.

He is survived by his four sons and their spouses: Diane and Wayne Gerondale, Karen and Mark Gerondale, Jennifer and Jimmy Gerondale, and Dean Gerondale; five grandchildren: Tiffany, Jennifer, Bryan, Stephen, and Kyle; eight great-grandchildren: Marissa, Chelsea, Mariah, April, Valerie, Jay, Jacob, and Hazel; and one great-great grandson, Bryce.

A memorial service will be held on Friday October 20, 2017 at 6:30 PM in Galveston at J. Levy & Termini Funeral Home, 2128 Broadway, with Reverend Raymond Pinard officiating. Visitation will be held prior to service time beginning at 5:00 P.M.
