Robert B. Cardenas, age 90, passed away Thursday, May 25, 2017 at his residence. He was born in Galveston, Texas on December 14, 1926. He was a World War II veteran, having served in the U.S. Navy. He was retired from U.S. National Bank, after 50 years of service. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus #787, the Serra Club, Noon Optimist Club and chaplain for the VFW Post 880.

He was preceded in death by his wife Ida Cardenas, who passed away in 2002.

He is survived by his wife Jean Garcia Cardenas; daughter Naomi Halcumb and husband Bradly; son Jason Cardenas and wife Eliza; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at J. Levy & Termini Funeral Home from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at J. Levy & Termini Funeral Home, with Reverend Raymond Pinard officiating. Interment will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
