Maria Jaramillo-Cisneros passed away at 8:48 P.M. on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at her residence in Galveston, Texas. She was born on December 29, 1969 in Monterrey, N.L., to Rosa Gutierrez and Samuel Cisneros.

Maria worked many years of her life with several companies in Galveston County, including Shrimp N Stuff and Odyssey Academy. She also worked at the San Luis Resort with Mrs. Jayni Brown, who was her good friend and co-worker for numerous years. She enjoyed her Sundays spending time with her family listening to music.

She was preceded in death by Elida Ortegon, Theresa de Jesus Leal, Antonio Ortegon, Ana Cisneros, Maria Elva Jaramillo and Bernardo Jaramillo.

She is survived by her daughters Melina Jaramillo(Shawn) and Genessis Jaramillo(Chris); grandchildren Izabella, Samiah, Anastasia, Olivia, Lalo, Richard, Daniel, Diego and unborn grandchild Christopher Jr; brothers Jose Antonio(Miriam and their children), Samuel(Sara and their daughter) and Jorge Arturo; and sisters Rosa Isela(Jorge P. and their daughter) and Myrna Elizabeth; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.

A Celebration of Maria’s life will be held on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at 7:00 P.M. at J. Levy & Termini Funeral Home, with Pastor Leonardo Diaz officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 5:00 P.M.

The Jaramillo-Cisneros family wishes to express a special thanks to the following people for their donations to the family for funeral expenses: Jayni Brown and the San Luis Hotel, Jeff Antonelli with Shrimp N Stuff, Maria and Lucy, The Rodriguez Family, Janet Gutierrez with Tacon Madre and the Ventura family.
