Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at 3:00 P.M. at Trinity Episcopal Church, with Reverend Susan Kennard officiating.

A private family graveside service will be held at Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery in Hitchcock, Texas.

  Sandra Hopewell Seinsheimer, age 71, passed away Sunday, May 25, 2014 at her home in Galveston, Texas. She was born in San Angelo, Texas on November 13, 1942. She worked at the William Temple Foundation and was the Manager and Program Director of the Bob Smith Yacht Club. She was an avid and committed contributor to the community: Clean Galveston, Galveston Children’s Home, Galveston Historical Foundation, Junior League of Galveston County, Ronald McDonald House, The United Way, Women of Trinity Church and YWCA.

She was preceded in death by her parents William and Hazel Hopewell; mother and father-in-law Fellman and Jesse Lee Seinsheimer.

She is survived by her husband J. Fellman Seinsheimer, III; children Jeff Seinsheimer, Matt Seinsheimer and wife Heidi and Kate Lykes and husband Jim; grandchildren Claire Seinsheimer, Payton Lykes, Joseph Lykes, Margaret Ann Lykes and Glynis Lykes; brother-in-law Robert Seinsheimer and wife Nancy; and sister-in-law Seal Grief and husband Ross.

Pallbearers will be John Ferguson, Jere Pederson, Harold Duble, Matt Seinsheimer, Jeff Seinsheimer and Jim Lykes.
