Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24, 2014 at Lakeview Cemetery from Noon to 2:00 P.M. with graveside services beginning at 2:00 P.M.

  Richard Joseph Solano, age 34 passed away Monday, January 20, 2014 at Mainland Center Hospital. He was born in Galveston TX. on October 30, 1979. He lived in Austin many years and made his way back to the Galveston County area. He loved being with family, enjoyed watching the New England Patriots, BBQing and tattooing. He was a hard working man and the main provider for his family. He was an amazing father who always made sure his children were taken care of before anything else. He had a great sense of humor and loved to make people laugh.


He is preceded in death by his Grandparents, Toney & Amelia Solano, Uncles Kenneth & Paul Solano and Aunt Jodie Filidei.

He is survived by his mother, Becky Solano & husband Jimmy Brown; his wife Marina Mosely, children Alyssa Solano (12), Yazmin Solano (5) and Rianna Solano (2); siblings, John Paul Solano & wife Kimber Woods and sister Veronica Biggins & husband Eliot Biggins; extended family Brandon & Ayedyn Molina and Clayton "Tuff" Thomas; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Molina, Clayton "Tuff" Thomas, Eliot Biggins, James Solano, Nick Rendon III and Edgar DeLeon Jr. Honorary pallbearer will be John Paul Solano.
