Sharon Marie Becker, age 72, formerly of Port Bolivar, passed away Sunday July 24, 2016 at Oak Bend Medical Center in Richmond, Texas. She was born in Galveston, Texas on May 6, 1944.

She was preceded in death by her husband Henry Becker; parents Ernest and Agnes Stephenson; brothers and sisters, Ernest Stephenson Jr, Audrey Shaw, Dorothy “Nanny” Skachok and Norma Lee Comeaux.

She is survived by her son Brandon Becker; granddaughter Iliana Becker; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday July 27, 2016 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, at J Levy & Termini Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday July 28, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Port Bolivar with Pastor Dennis Allen officiating. Interment will follow at the Port Bolivar Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be David, Michael and Joe Comeaux, Allen, Kevin and Lee Stephenson

Honorary Pallbearers are James Stephenson, Jason Eckblad, Elvin Darden and Shelly Levy.

She was a living breathing beautiful contradiction. Her will and strength were a thing to behold, yet she was as fragile as can be. As a mother she was entirely selfless, and yet she could flip that switch and let the world know where to stick it. She was going to do what SHE wanted. She was so brave in her life decisions, yet as insecure as anyone you would ever meet. She had a world view that was atypical of small town Texas but Lord was she small town through and through!
