Lore Ray Healy, age 88, passed away Sunday, June 26, 2016 at her residence. She was born in Bay City, Texas on October 20, 1927. She was retired from Weis Middle School where she was secretary to the principal. She began each week with a Sunday dinner surrounded by her family, enjoying the cacophony of laughter, storytelling and grandchildren playing. She will be sadly missed by all that knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her son, Joseph Healy; her husband Clarence Healy; her parents August and Crystal Marquer; and brothers Oscar Foreman, August Marquer, Alcide Marquer, Alcus Marquer, Charles Marquer and Eugene Marquer.

She is survived by daughter Mary Endres; daughter Dennise Hefner and husband Jim; son Patrick Healy; son Michael Healy and wife JoAnne; son Timothy Healy and wife Debbie; son James Healy and wife Alica; son Keven Healy and wife Patty; sister Dolores Barry; daughter-in-law Elaine Healy; 18 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandson.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at 2PM at the First Lutheran Church of Galveston, 2415 Winnie Street, with Rev. Richard Rhoades officiating.
