Services

Funeral services will be held at J. Levy and Termini, located at 2128 Broadway, Galveston, Tx 77550.

The family will receive visitors from 5-7pm on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 followed by the Rosary at 7pm.

Funeral services will be held at 11am on Thursday, May 7, 2015.

Services will be officiated by Mark’s brother-in-law, Andrew DeYoung.

Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Dickinson, Texas.

  Mark H. Kleypas passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 3, 2015 at the age of 58 in Houston, TX. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Kleypas. He is survived by his mother, Mary Jo Kleypas Woods, his wife, Jacquelyn Tramonte Kleypas, daughter, Kristen Kleypas and sisters Kay DeYoung, Karen Reed, and Kathy Farris, as well as numerous other family members and friends.

Born in Baytown, TX on July 16, 1956, Mark graduated from Dickinson High School. Following high school, Mark graduated from St. Edward’s University, where he met his wife Jacquelyn, before receiving a Masters degree in Health Care Administration from the University of Houston - Clear Lake.

While completing his Master’s degree, he worked in research for Exxon Chemical Company and later joined Mainland Center Hospital in hospital administration. Subsequently, he moved into quality control positions with Hampshire Chemical and then as Quality Control Manager for Dow Chemical – La Porte. Subsequent to his corporate career, Mark indulged his passion in real estate rehabilitation and development.

Mark was an avid fan of all forms of sports. He enjoyed traveling whenever possible, and loved to cook and barbeque with friends and family, as well as competitively. Mark’s greatest joy was found in helping others and he will be remembered as a humorous and caring man.
