Services

Visitation will be held on Sunday February 1, 2015, 5:00-7:00 p.m., with a Rosary to begin at 7 p.m. at J Levy & Termini Funeral Home, 2128 Broadway St. Galveston, TX 77550, with Deacon Robert Standridge officiating.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, February 2, 2015 at 10:00 a.m., at St. Patrick Holy Family Parish Catholic Church, 1010 35th St. Galveston, Tx 77550, with Father Jude Ezuma officiating.

Burial will follow at Cavalry Catholic Cemetery, 2011 65th St., Galveston, TX 77551.

 

Margaret Ann Chavarria was born on October 9, 1956, and passed away peacefully at her residence on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at the age of 58, in Galveston, Tx with her loving family by her side.

Margaret was a beautiful warm-hearted person. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed her precious moments with her loved ones. She was full of laughter, joy, and love. She loved to dance and enjoy life. Margaret was employed at American National Insurance Company as a clerical worker for 31 years. She then spent the remainder of her life with her family.

Preceded in death by her adoptive parents, Feliciana and George Vasquez Sr.: her brothers George Jr., Richard Sr., and Johnny Sr. Vasquez: her nephew Caeser Nunez: her niece Connie Ayala.

Survivors include her Biological mother, Virginia Carrel: sisters Linda Nunez (Jacob), Mary Gutierrez, Dora Montoya, Connie Ovalle, Sorina Garza (Manuel), Carol Wilkins: brothers Martin Carrel: daughters Felicha Chavarria, and Rachell Alvarado (Herb) and Rena Alvarado. Grandchildren Veronica Ruiz, Candace Porres (Jesus), Courtney Porres (Donzell), Brian Alvarado (Kelly), Breanna Ross, Brena Young (Rene), Isiah and Caleb Chapel, Glenn Young Jr., Kiara Matthews, Jesiah, Mia, Asia Hatcher. Great Grand-children Amaya and Julian Valdivia; Jacob, Ian, Gabriel Veazie: Jason Williams, Ricardo Ruiz, Jazelle Sauceda, Wyatt Salazar: Aiden Salazar.
