Dolores “Lolita” Fentanes, age 91, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Tampico, Mexico on February 10, 1924.

Her greatest love was her family. She was always surrounded by her children and her grandchildren. She was a devoted and unselfish caregiver and would open her heart and home to everyone. She was of the Catholic faith and a member of Holy Family Parish. She also loved to dance and cook while listening to her Mariachi music.

She was preceded in death by her husband Joaquin Fentanes, Sr; and her daughter Guadalupe Lety Ruiz.

She is survived by her sons: Joaquin Fentanes, Jr and wife Catherine, Luis Antonio Fentanes and wife Laurel, Arturo Fentanes and wife Jo Ann, Robert Fentanes and wife Deborah, Javier Fentanes, Sr and wife Laurie; grandchildren: A.J., Stevie, Javier Jr, Lexis Jade, Jourdan, Arthur Jr, Zachary, Monika, Joaquin III, Jared, Joel, Tara, Kavanaugh, Crystal and Amber; and numerous other relatives and friends.

A Rosary and Remembrance service will be held on Sunday, November 1, 2015 at 6:00 P.M. at J. Levy & Termini Funeral Home. Visitation will be held prior to service time beginning at 5:00 P.M.  Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, with Deacon Henry Herrera officiating.

The family would like to express a special thanks to Dr. Maria Camacho; caregiver Alicia Lopez with Texas Home Health; Hallmark Hospice; and the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services.
