Services

Her services will be conducted on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. at J. Levy and Termini Funeral Home in Galveston with Reverend Raymond Pinard officiating.

The family will be receiving friends prior to the service beginning at 5:00 p.m.

She will be buried in Starkville, Mississippi.

 

Janet Woolridge Lynn, age 55, of Galveston, Texas, passed away Wednesday afternoon, August 6, 2014 at UTMB Hospital, Galveston, Texas with her friends at her bedside after prolonged illness. She was born on December 17, 1958 in Starkville, Mississippi. She was raised in Fayetteville, Tennessee where she graduated high school in 1976. She was in the banking industry until she became a full time mother to twin girls.

Janet was preceded in death by her father, Lenwood Carr Woolridge, her mother Peggy Templeton Woolridge, and her sister, Pamala Sullivan.

Her survivors include her twin daughters, Victoria Elizabeth Lynn of Kissimmee, Florida and Ruth Whitney Alvarado and husband Alvaro of Glennville, GA, her brother Lee Woolridge and wife Marsha of Fayetteville, Tennessee, nieces and nephews, Jody Woolridge, Patricia Woolridge, Melissa Woolridge, Stacy Sullivan, Lynsey Sullivan Parker, aunt Linda T. Denson and husband Johnny Denson of League City, aunt Kathy Anderson and husband Larry of Tupelo, MS, cousin Richard and wife Linda M. Denson of Galveston, and one grandchild, Bryant Ellis Lynn and her beloved dog, Sweetie and many other loving family members. Special thanks to her caregivers Alan, Drew, and Clinton.
