Services

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 19, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. at J. Levy & Termini Funeral Home, 2128 Broadway St, Galveston, TX 77550, with Deacon Robert Standridge officiating.

Visitation will be held prior to service time beginning at 9:00 A.M.
 

  Anna Gonzales, 66, lost her courageous battle with Ovarian Cancer on Tuesday, December 16, 2014.

Anna was born May 26, 1948 in Galveston, TX. She was a loving mother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend. Anna enjoyed her time quilting and took great pride in being a mother and housewife.

She was preceded in death by her father, Secundino Mendez, niece, Dina Marie Wyatt, and brother-in-law, Carlos Gonzales. She is survived by her husband, Louis Gonzales, Sr, sons, Louis Gonzales, Jr., Lonnie Gonzales (Jami Johnson), daughter, Tracy Martin (Derek), mother, Maria Mendez (Grasso), brother, Louis Mendez (Freda), sisters, Margaret Ramirez (Rudy), Rosie Hernandez, Lola Lupercio (Richard), Ester Flores (Alex), Gloria Brister (Phillip), and numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and other relatives and friends.

Anna's family would like to give a special thank you to Dr Gwynn Richardson of UTMB and to Leigh, Daniele, Beverly, and Tina of Hallmark Hospice for all the comfort that they provided to Anna and her family.
