Buddy's family will be receiving friends for visitation at the funeral home Thursday morning
from 11:00 a.m. until service time.

Interment:

Burial will follow services Thursday at Calvary Catholic Cemetery also in Galveston.

 

Henry "Buddy" Rodriguez, III, passed away peacefully December 27, 2013.  He was born on Galveston Island, August 11, 1958, one of four children to Henry Rodriguez, Jr. and Natalie Jimenez(Rodriguez).  He attended Ball High School, graduating with the "Class of 1977".  Classmates will remember him for his involvement as a trainer for the mighty "Tornados".

Henry, or "Buddy" as he was affectionately known by his family and friends, was employed for many years as a courier for Texas First Bank.  He was a dedicated member of the Knights of Columbus, M.J. Babin #5236 for 22 years and Matthew H. Wilson Assembly 4th degree 1988.  Most recently, Buddy began his own business in construction renovation and remodeling repair work.
 
He is preceded in death by his father, Henry Rodriguez, Jr. and also his only brother, Michael H. Rodriguez.  He leaves behind his loving family, mother, Natalie Jimenez, his two sisters, Lorraine Ward and her husband, Speedy Ward and Pamela Moore and her husband, David Moore.  Buddy also is survived by his nieces, Tricia Elkins, Jennifer Jones (Jason), Nevia Essex (Jeff), Crystal Day, Suzanne Schulgen and Noel Hickson.  Holding a very special place in his heart also are Buddy's two great-nieces, seven great-nephews, other loving family and many friends.
 
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, January 2, 2014 at J. Levy & Termini Funeral Home, with Deacon Sam Dellolio officiating.  Burial will follow services Thursday at Calvary Catholic Cemetery also in Galveston.  Buddy's family will be receiving friends for visitation at the funeral home Thursday morning from 11:00 a.m. until service time.
 
Pallbearers will be Ethan Elkins, John Caballero, Ricki Hester, Larry Ochoa, Jeff Essex and Paul Dolan.
