Sherry Hafferty, age 66, passed away Monday, April 1, 2013, at Oceanview Transitional Care Center in Texas City. She was born on February 1, 1947 in Stoughton, Wisconsin. She was employed as a registered nurse for 30 years for both St. Mary’s and UTMB Hospitals. She was a member of Temple B’nai Israel.

She is survived by her daughter Laura Hafferty; son Lonn Hafferty; brothers Rickey Bond, Tommy Bond, Maurice Bond, Joseph Bond, David Bond, Gilbert Bond and Mark Stuvetraa; sisters Lenna Bond, Frances Skillman; special sisters Andrea Bond Johnson and Angela Witkus; and numerous nieces & nephews.
