Mack Anthony Arredondo was born in Galveston, Texas on July 10, 1961 and lived his whole life on the island he loved. He passed away surrounded by his family and friends on September 16, 2013. He had a love for his family, friends and many pets. He enjoyed laughing, telling stories, riding his motorcycle and spending time with his friends at his home in Galveston.

Mack was preceded in death and now home with his mother and father, Evangelina and Mack Arredondo. He is survived by his son, whom he was very proud of, Brandon. He is also survived by his grandmother Mary Arredondo, sister Rikki Jo Jaramillo and her husband, Edward Jaramillo; niece Erin Brown Ross and nephews, Justin Brown, Edward Jaramillo Jr, and Jordan Jaramillo. Mack is also loved and will be missed by his many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.

Mrs. Jarmamillo and family would like to extend a special thank you to all his hospice nurses and A-Med Community Hospice. Thanks to them, Mack was well taken care of and comfortable in his final days on this earth. It brought great peace to the family knowing how compassionate they were in their care for Mack.

It was Mack’s wishes to be cremated. A graveside service will be held in his honor on Monday, September 23, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, with Deacon Henry Herrera officiating.

Mack graduated from Ball High School and went on to serve his country in the United States Army. He worked for over 30 years as a Master Welder at TNT Marine and AET Off-Shore Services Inc. He was very proud of his work and thankful for his years of service as a veteran and a welder.
