 Ruby Adams

Ruby Adams, 54, passed away May 30, 2013 at her home in Galveston, Texas. She was surrounded by her very loving family. She was born June 15, 1958 in Hereford, Texas. As a medical professional, Ruby lived on Galveston Island and was employed at The University of Texas Medical Branch as an Asst. Clinical Research Coordinator. Her professional career introduced her to many individuals whose lives were touched by an illness or sickness that dictated their quality of life. It was Ruby's understanding and care for these individuals that defined her compassion for the needs to others. She will be remembered for the contributions she made.

It was Ruby's wish to be cremated and this has been lovingly granted by her family. She will be deeply missed but her memories will live on in the hearts of those that knew her and loved her.

Ruby is also survived by two brothers, John and Kelley Haney, her niece, Kathryn Haney, a host of other family and many friends.

Ruby is preceded in death by her parents, James and Peggy Haney and also her only sister, Carol Coffee. She leaves behind fond memories with her husband, Keith G. Adams of Galveston, TX, two daughters, Jennifer Henslee of Waxahachie, TX and Laura Adams and Albert Garza, also of Waxahachie and also two sons, Donnie Dalton of Arizona and Dustin Adams of Galveston, TX. Sharing in her loss, too, are Ruby's three grandchildren, Benjamin Sietler Dalton, Hannah Elizabeth Dawn Adams and Max Cleo Garza.
